An Ocean of Air

Composed and arranged by Ed Puddick. As recorded by the Upper Austrian Jazz Orchestra in January 2021, this swinging chart includes improvised solos for Flugelhorn, Alto Sax and Guitar. Regular metric modulations between 9/8 and 3/4 maintain a great sense of momentum throughout this chart. A tricky riff for the bass and guitar underpins the impulsive groove.
